教授挨拶

この度、令和5年６月１日より先進デジタル医学・医療教育学講座の特任教授を拝命いたしました。当講座はデジタル技術を活用し、秋田大学や県内の医療機関の皆様と連携をしながら医学部の卒前・卒後教育をさらに発展させる目的で設立されました。具体的にはデジタル技術を活用した教育コンテンツの開発、e-learningを用いた学びの拡充、そしてシミュレーション教育などの既存の教育手法とデジタル技術を融合させて、新しい学びを構築することを目指しています。また、デジタル技術を用いた医学教育は非常に発展性のある分野であり、当講座では教育実践や教育研究を通じて秋田県から世界へ発信をしていきます。

医学教育においては、教育現場の環境や、教育の目的、携わる人々、といった要素（コンテクスト）が非常に重要となりますが、皆様と対話を重ねながら、秋田大学や県内の医療機関のコンテクストに合った教育のかたちを模索し、秋田だからこそできることを見つけながら、未来の医療者と一緒になってデジタル医学教育を作り上げていきたいと思います。

I am honored with the appointment as a project professor of the Department of Innovative and Digitalized Medical Education, established in June 1, 2023. This department was founded with the purpose of further advancing pre- and post-graduate education in Akita University, in collaboration with medical institutions within the prefecture, by utilizing digital technologies. Specifically, our aim is to integrate digital technology with existing educational methods such as the development of educational content using digital techniques, expanding learning through e-learning, and incorporating simulation-based education. Our goal is to build new approaches to learning. Moreover, medical education utilizing digital technology is a highly promising field, and through educational practices and research of medical education, our department will strive to disseminate findings and knowledge from Akita prefecture to the world.

In medical education, contextual factors such as the educational environment, educational objectives, and the individuals involved are of utmost importance. Through continual conversation with all of you, we will explore educational approaches that are suitable for the context of Akita University and medical institutions within the prefecture, where the aging population is increasing. We aim to collaborate with future healthcare professions to create and develop innovative and digitalized medical education, capitalizing on the unique strengths of Akita.
